I originally planted the Autumn Joy Sedum in this stump 12 to 13 years ago and have always loved it! Naturally, over the years it has broken down and been unable to fully hold soil. I decided this is the year to redesign/ replant it. I filled the open spaces in the front with a mixture of Hens and Chicks and planted a couple Moss Roses in front of the Autumn Joy Sedum.
This was such a fun project! I highly encourage everyone to leave even a small corner open for creativity...a space to throw caution to the wind!
